If youre finishing up school and trying to look for a job at the same time, it can get chaotic. Youre juggling a thesis or final exams all while searching around, meeting recruiters and trying to have some kind of a life. It can get to be a drag. If you can work out what your real priorities are, you might be able to make a better balance of it all for yourself.
One thing you can do is use your circumstances of being in school. If your school has a strong career center, us it. It can tell you about resources you might not know about. There may also be coaching and workshops. If youre working and going to school, its tough to carve out enough time for the job search so pick times that work for you and arent just crammed in because youve got ten minutes. If you start your search in January and you arent available until May, then you need to be clear to prospective employers about that so there is no misunderstanding.
